Paul is writing to Timothy and explaining that in latter times people in the church would stray from the truth! It is hard to believe that Paul would be talking like this; however, from the overall context of this book, it would appear Paul is talking about Christians….

Paul lists 19 negatives things in this small, but powerful passage! We would do well to check our hearts and make sure our attitudes and actions are not on this list….
